Lal Bahadur Stadium

Abbreviated as Lb stadium, initially known to be FATEH MAIDAN. A saucer shaped playground where Aurangzeb pitched his inaugural camp on his victorious campaign against Golconda. It was he who coined the name Fateh Maidan (where Fateh means victory as Maidan means a stadium or a playground) after his triumph over Qutub Shah. From 1853 this became the chosen place for military pardes, some times Hyderabadi Nawabs used to play polo on the ground. It can accommodate around 30,000 people.

  2. This was one of the most lucky stadiums for India where we lost once or twice.
On contrary, India have lost all the matches that were played at Uppal Stadium.
